After her latest album Liberation was shelved, Mya has been working hard on a new album. the album will be titled Smoke and Mirrors and it will be released in 2008. In an interview Mya stated that she felt that liberation was her best work and altough she wanted it to be released in the U.S. she thinks it happened for a reason. She also said that she plans on using 2 or 3 songs from Liberation on the new album but it would be mostly new material.

i heard snippets of the album and i will have to say that "liberation" is mya's best album to date! its ashamed it got shelved. in my opinion its her best work! keep yo head up mya!...shame on universal motown!
Get It Mya, shes so damn sexy! I got her liberation buts its best to work on another album. Other ppl who have messed up their album, ie eve, kelly rowland need to take notes!
