ALthough he was not well known, Static was a songwriter/producer/singer in the RnB trio Playa. You may know the group from their song Cheers to You. They also help wirte for Ginuwine(Pony,So Anxious), Aaliyah(Try Again,Loose Rap, We need Resolution)and Brandy(Come as you are). He died on Monday of a brain aneurysm.

Jlo gave birth to both a girl and a boy on friday 2//22/08. when born the children weighed in at 5 pounds and 7 ounces, and 6 pounds. COngrats to Both Jennifer and Marc!!

Rnb singer / song writer Neyo was arrested earlier this week for reckless driving. Neyo was pulled over for driving 100mph and after being stopped he didn't have a valid driving license on him."looks at mugshot" I guess we know why he wears hats all the time.....

TV SItcom Girlfriends Canceled.
After 7.5 seasons of the show Girlfriends has been officially canceled in the middle of its 8th season. What makes matters worse is the show was canceled right after the writers strike ended. Sources say that the hour long run on Monday were the final episodes of the show.The show only recorded 13 of the planned 22 episodes. if gfirlfriends would've lasted one more season it would have been the longest african american sitcom ever.
TI update
Just A little bit o T.I. He is still working on his new album Paper trail, although he is still unsure of a release date it is stil set for a release later this year. during an interview with Mtv he stated:
"It's a lot of bullsh-- out right now. I'm not gonna front. I feel it's definitely about time for somebody to come back out and kick this thing back in gear. The rotation is suffering right now. I intend to do something about it. It's just a matter of when."
I'm really looking foward to TI's new stuff. I'm a big fan.

Letoya Luckett in a new play
The name of the play is called Rumors and it stars Telma Hopkins( half n Half and Family matters) Darius McCrary and Letoya! Gllad to see her branching out in new things.
