Jive records has recently dropped recording artist Kelis from their label. Kelis's first album Tasty went gold with the help of her huge hit Milkshake.Although Tasty did well we can't say the sameabout her latest effort Kelis Was Here. Her manager stated:"It was a case of being in the ever-shrinking world of the record industry and finding herself on a label she wasn't signed to and without a champion. She's a different kind of artist — very image and style-driven. It's either something you get or you don't."

TI was arrested last night after he received a delivery of guns at his Atlanta home. Authorities got a tip that TI would be receiving the guns. His bodyguard was arrested Wednesday for buying three machine guns and two silencers. When he was questioned he said that he was buying then TI. This then began a investigation on the rapper. The bodyguard arranged to deliver them to the rapper on Saturday. Police also found 6 guns in TI's closet and three others in his car. TI will be in court on Monday.

It seems as if Britney is having the worst year. First she gets a divorce, then she is humiliated at the VMA's and now she has lost custody of both her children. Kevin Fedreline was granted custody of their two children after Britney was caught driving without a license while the ids were in the car. Before this incident Spears and Federline shared custody.Kevin will have custody until further notice by the court.
